How to Appeal a Content or Account Decision
If you are an EU resident and feel that either your content has been removed or your account restricted incorrectly, you have the right to appeal this decision for a period of six months following the initial action.
You can file an appeal by clicking on the link in the email regarding the decision taken and filling out the requested information.
All complaints submitted will be handled under the supervision of qualified staff and users will be informed of the decision in a timely manner. In cases where the complaint contains sufficient grounds for reversal, Seareviews will take the appropriate action.
Should you disagree with Seareviews' decision on your appeal, there are other means of action you may take.
- You are entitled to access a third party out-of-court dispute settlement process.
- You may be entitled to seek remedies from the courts in relation to any disputes.
- You may be entitled to access to out-of-court settlement bodies in accordance with the Alternative Dispute Resolution. Note that these settlement bodies have not yet been designated, but once they are the European Commission will make information available on their webpage.
- Business users may also be entitled to forms of redress under the Platform to Business regulation.
